Payment terms

1. Recurring subscriptions

By purchasing an annual subscription, you agree to an initial and recurring annual subscription fee at the then-current rate (members will be notified in advance of any changes to fees). You accept responsibility for all recurring charges until you cancel your subscription. You may cancel your subscription at any time, subject to the terms of our cancellation policy.

We will notify you before your annual subscription is billed, and invite you to check your details (including concessionary category, if relevant) in the member’s area of the website. You are responsible for keeping these details up to date.

If your recurring payment fails, we will contact you to ask you for alternative payment details.

2. One-off memberships

You authorise us to contact you when your membership is about to expire, and when it has expired. If you wish to continue your membership, you will need to make a new one-off payment or switch to a recurring subscription.

You may cancel your subscription at any time, subject to the terms of our cancellation policy.

Restrictions on use

Your membership details are for you alone to use. Please do not share your login details with anyone else, and do not share content from our publications without our express permission.

Cancellations and refunds

You can cancel your recurring subscription or one-off membership at any time. However, we do not offer pro-rata refunds for those cancelling part way through a subscription year.

Other refunds (for instance, where a member has selected the wrong membership category on sign-up) will be offered at the discretion of the Membership Secretary.
